Well, hello there…
After deciding a career in law just wasn’t meant to be and exploring my more creative side in 2003-2004, I fell into a rather serendipitous experience at a small Dayton stationery shop. I learned about layout design and print media, and discovered a hidden passion for the art of combining beautiful fonts and fine paper. At the same time, I developed a knack for working one-on-one with clients to help create the invitations they envisioned in their minds. And when that little paper boutique closed in 2005, The Envelope was born.
I’ve had the pleasure of working with many of my clients for almost 15 years now, getting to know them and watching their families grow. In addition to running my business, I also do freelance writing and editing, and I’ve been the graphic design consultant for Culture Works and the marketing coordinator for the Dayton Visual Arts Center since early 2012.
My clients and friends comment all the time that I must love what I do, and they’re absolutely right. Why? Because I help create little pieces of art that represent memories people will hold onto for a lifetime, and I get to work with some pretty awesome people in the process.
For those of you who are new to Dayton, or new to The Envelope, feel free to reach out to me anytime to chat about any ideas or projects you have that I might be able to help out with, or just to say hello. I look forward to working with you to create something unique and beautiful.
